Ministry Among Guyanese (MAG)

is a committee of the Metro NY Synod,

made up of congregations and individuals

who work to re-connect Guyanese

to Lutheran churches in New York,

as well as support the ministry

of the Lutheran Church in Guyana.

The Queens Federation of Churches

is an ecumenical ministry

involving over 380 congregations, representing every denomination in Queens.

On the first Sunday of the month,

our congregation collects a special offering

of non-perishable food stuffs

to be distributed by the QFC's

Emergency Food Service.

Alcoholics Anonymous

St. James-St. Matthew's hosts a noontime

AA meeting every weekday.
